Ted Bishop serves as the General Partner at The Legends Golf Club as well as the PGA General Manager and Golf Course Superintendent.

Bishop founded The Legends in 1991. He hired Jim Fazio, golf course architect, supervised the construction of the course and opened the facility in 1992. 
Bishop grew up in Logansport, IN where he was a three-sport athlete in basketball, baseball and tennis.

He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Agronomy and Turf Management.

He got his start in golf working at the Rolling Hills Par 3 in his hometown at the age of 17. Upon his graduation from Purdue he was hired as the Pro/Supt. of the Phil Harris Golf Course in Linton, IN where he served for 17 years before building The Legends GC.
During his tenure at The Legends, the course has hosted many major golf events including the men’s and women’s Indiana Amateur championship
